Why choose an independent?
Most kitchens look much the same in a brochure. What makes the difference is the people who design and fit it.
The big national names sell a great many kitchens. We would rather sell fewer, and get every one of them right.

Meet the experts
"The kitchen fitter's designer."
That's what a tradesman once called Aaron, and it stuck. Every Pentland kitchen is designed by people who know how it will be fitted, and fitted by people who were there when it was designed.
Aaron Mundin
Co-founder and kitchen designer
Aaron has worked across the kitchen trade and still jumps on the tools when he needs to. He knows the challenges at every stage, so his designs are ones that fit as well as they look.
Leon Rousseau
Co-founder and head of installations
Leon leads the fitting team and brings the technical, problem-solving eye only a tradesman has. There is very little about installing a kitchen that he hasn't seen.
Mike Fleming
Kitchen designer
Mike has more than ten years in the kitchen business. You'll find him in the showroom, guiding clients through their designs and looking after our supply-only customers.
With Nathan and Michael on the fitting team, and a Highland cow keeping an eye on the showroom.

From first visit to final fit

Sit down with a designer, see doors, worktops and appliances, and talk through your plans and budget.

We measure your room, so the design fits the walls, windows and pipes you actually have.

Layout, doors, colours, worktops and appliances, changed as often as you need until it is right.

Fitted by our team
Leon and the team fit it, with wall removal, electrics, plastering and decorating managed if you need them.
