The Colour Palette: Calm and Classic
At the heart of this design is a soft and timeless pairing of Sage Green and Antique White. This gentle contrast keeps the space feeling light and airy while adding enough depth to make a statement. It’s a perfect palette if you’re after something with character that won’t date quickly.
The Worktop: Effortless Elegance
We paired the cabinetry with Silestone’s Calacatta Gold Quartz worktops — a durable, low-maintenance surface with striking veining and a warm base tone that ties in beautifully with the natural woods in the space.
Not only is it stunning to look at, but it’s also incredibly practical for busy family life and frequent entertaining.

The Island: The Social Centrepiece
The central island is the heart of this kitchen, and it does more than just look good. It houses a sleek Miro venting induction hob and deep drawer storage for easy access to pots and pans.
The wooden breakfast bar, complete with rattan stools, adds natural texture and provides a relaxed space for everything from morning coffee to evening catch-ups with friends.c

Lighting: Functional Meets Fabulous
Lighting can transform a space — and this kitchen proves it. We used spotlights to flood the room with brightness, especially helpful in the darker months. Above the island, pendant lights serve as both a feature and a functional source of task lighting — ideal for those late-night dinner preps or cocktail nights.
Open shelving with its own spot pendants adds that extra layer of style and cosiness, especially in the evenings.

Appliances with Impact
The appliance choices were all about blending performance with aesthetics. The Miro hob keeps things streamlined with built-in ventilation, while a Blanco 4-in-1 boiling water tap brings instant hot water and sleek design to the sink area.
Everything is thoughtfully placed so the cook stays connected to the rest of the room — because no one wants to be left out of the conversation while dinner’s on the go!

The Bigger Picture: Warm, Open, and Welcoming
Wooden flooring flows from the kitchen into the dining and living space, connecting the rooms and adding vital warmth to this open-plan layout. The wooden dining set and living room furniture mirror the tones in the breakfast bar, making the whole space feel cohesive and well-considered.
By tying the furniture colours to the kitchen palette, we’ve created a space that feels stylish and connected — perfect for a modern family who loves to host, relax, and gather together.
